He or she will listen to your ideas while making suggestions to help design your day’s itinerary. With our unique local knowledge, we encourage questions about Virgin Island geography, history, etc. that you may be curious about along the way. Captain Rick
Charter Captain
Rick has not only been plying the waters of the Virgin Islands for the last 13 years, he has also been around boats his entire life. Upon receiving a degree from the University of Rhode Island in Fisheries and Marine Technology, he worked aboard commercial fishing boats out of Gloucester, MA. After earning his USCG Master’s license, Rick went on to captain party fishing boats in NJ, NYC commuter boats, environmental boats, and a tug boat in New York Harbor.
After an eventful wintertime crossing in ’06 through Bermuda from NJ in a small sailboat, Rick landed on the island of St John… it was “America’s Caribbean”! His initial purpose of delivering a boat to St John, USVI turned quickly into adopting a new home on St Thomas and seeking job opportunities on charter boats. Rick has now accumulated a vast knowledge of the Virgin Islands he calls home and loves sharing it all with you on our day boat trips.
Captain Peter

Captain Peter’s love of the water and boat handling skills were honed throughout childhood beginning with competitive sailing and later at The SUNY Maritime College where he earned his Unlimited Third Mate’s and USCG 100-Ton Master’s licenses. With almost 10 years of Virgin Islands boating experience, Peter knows the best snorkel spots, beaches, and bar/restaurants in St Thomas, St John, and The British Virgin Islands. Whether it’s to The Caves at Norman Island or The Soggy Dollar at Jost Van Dyke, he is always excited to help design your boat day after you tell him what you and your friends and family are most interested in seeing and doing!

Captain Kevin
Charter Captain
Captain Kevin grew up sailing and fishing on Long Island Sound, CT. Kevin’s many yacht deliveries to the islands resulted in his discovery of the Virgin Islands — especially St. Thomas and St. John — about 20 years ago. He has his USCG 100-Ton Master’s license and has captained multi-passenger power and sailing charter boats, private yachts, and many personalized six-passenger charter boats. Kevin owned his own 40-ft. private charter boat and business in St Thomas since 2015 and is keenly attuned to customer service on the water. Kevin has a thorough familiarity with all the best Virgin Island destinations, including snorkeling, bar hopping, or just the sights and stories. Just let him know your priorities and Captain Kevin will take a special interest in making them happen!
